Our Intermediate synchro team Synergy competed at the 2011 BMO Skate Canada Synchronized Skating Championships in Brampton, ON. Approximately 53 synchronized skating teams travelled from across Canada to compete in the novice, intermediate, open, junior and senior categories. Synergy had an good first skate scoring 50.61, and followed that with another solid skate, scoring 48.54 – they placed 14th. Their total of 73.84 was less than a point below their own provincial record.

Ashley Morgan and Dylan Short represented the province at the 2011 Canada Games in Halifax, Nova Scotia; Wendy Mercer was part of the coaching team. Both Dylan and Ashley had great performances, and both finished 7th. Dylan skated a personal best, scoring 62.76 (a provincial record) in PreNovice men, and Ashley scored 79.58 in novice women.
