Skate Canada Newfoundland and Labrador Awards
Volunteer award of excellence winner Christine Morgan
Congratulations to our three award winners announced at the Skate Canada Newfoundland and Labrador AGM. Bianca Paiement received the Skate Canada StarSkate Athlete Award, Mark Scott received the Skate Canada Section Official Award and Christine Morgan was named the winner of the Skate Canada Volunteer Award of Excellence. Christine will receive her award at the National AGM later in May.
In addition two club members join the Section Board, Christine Morgan as competitions chair and Tanya Young as data specialists chair. Three of our young skaters (Serna Piercey, Sarah Drover and Kathleen Curran) showed their wide range of talents by providing musical entertainment at the awards banquet.
