Congratulations to all our skaters who competed at Summer Skate August 20th. Ashley Morgan placed 1st in Novice free, and second in Novice short, with Julia Mercer winning the short and placing second to Ashley in the long. Nicole Chan placed second in PreNovice women free, with Kaitlin Harte third, and Kaitlin also placed third in the short. In Junior Bronze 11 and under Elin Maskova placed first, with Taylor Druken second and Serna Piercey third. Erin Maher placed second in Junior Bronze 12 and over. Dylan Short (Novice), Lauren Stringer (Junior Silver) and Chloe Whitridge (Preliminary) were winners as single entrants

At the 2011 Quebec Summer Championships, Aug 11-14, Julia Mercer finished 4th in the short and 8th in the long in her Novice flight

Ashley Morgan, who has been training in Alberta this summer, took part in the Wild Rose competition in Leduc, AB. Ashley finished 13th in her flight of Novice short and 8th in the long, to finish 10th overall.
