The Prince of Wales Skating Club presented the ice show “So You Think You Can Skate?” on April 1st at the Glacier Arena, congratulations to all our skaters and the award winners.
Gigi Downton was the recipient of the John Hall Memorial award for volunteer efforts, Marlee Rae was presented with the programme assistant award of excellence and Breaunna Miller was named programme assistant of the year. Sophie Bennett is our Canskater of the Year, Ebyni Clarke and Takoda Druken were awarded Canskate Champions medals. Brady Mitchlemore is the CanPowerSkater of the year.

Results
The Club sent 19 skaters to the Junior Provincial Championships in CBS. Abbey Moores won a silver medal in Preliminary Women 9 Years & Younger, with Keira Hancock placing 6th, and Laura Murray 4th. In Preliminary Women 10 Years Kayley Ralph placed 7th.
In Pre-Preliminary II Women 8 Years Claire Bennett won a silver medal and Rebecca Combden bronze. Dayton Fifield won gold and Brooke Coffey silver in Pre-Preliminary I Women 8 Years. Gemma Andersen Jones won a bronze medal in Pre-Preliminary I Women 9 Years.
