Skater Development Seminar

with guest coach  Eric Radford & Luis Fenero

 Eric Radford is a two-time World champion (2015, 2016), a 2014-2018 Olympic silver and gold medalist in the team event, a 2018 Olympic bronze medalist in the pairs event, a two-time Four Continents champion (2013,2015), the 2014-2015 Grand Prix Final champion, and a seven-time Canadian national champion (2012–18).  Eric retired from competition in April 2018 adjusting his

career to exhibitions, coaching and choreography.

Luis Fenero is a Spanish ice dancer who competed in the final segment at two ISU Championships –  2013 Junior Worlds in Milan, Italy; and 2016 Europeans in Bratislava, Slovakia.

Prince of Wales Skating Club is delighted to welcome Eric & Luis to St. John’s and offer a skater development seminar including Jumps, Spins, Stroking, Footwork, Expression, Musicality, and Interpretation, as well as Off-Ice training with Jumps and Jump exercises, Movement and Theatre, Warm-up/Strength/Conditioning. The seminar  also includes a Meet-and-Greet Q&A session with pizza on Sunday evening.

Eligibility:       Skate Canada member in good standing, Star 3 or higher

Application Fee:        $175.00 per skater (Sunday off-ice & Monday+Tuesday on-ice)

                                    $250 per dance team/pairs (Sunday off-ice & Wednesday on-ice)

Please note an incorrect $8 processing fee is charged per invoice by the current setup however you will get $4 back at the seminar.

$40 fee applies to refunds by medical certificate only. Participation certificates for your school office will be sent upon request.

 Groups/Maximums:   Three groups (Junior/Intermediate/Senior) at  maximum of 20 skaters per group.
