We’re happy to announce that as of Tuesday Jan 25th, our CanPower Skaters are permitted to return to the ice.

Below are some guidelines in place to make this restart as safe as possible but if you are not comfortable having your child return, please contact the club office to arrange a credit for your Winter registration.

– In order to create some extra time and less chance of contact between sessions, we are for the time being, changing the on ice time to 45 minutes from 50 minutes. The actual start times and instructional time will remain the same. The warm up will be shortened to have the sessions end five minutes earlier.

-Players must arrive at the rink in full hockey gear. Dressing rooms will be provided to put on skates/helmets. Please make sure that you remain physically distanced while in the dressing room and masks are worn at all times when not on the ice.

-Because players will be fully dressed upon arrival, we ask that they arrive at the rink 5 minutes prior to scheduled ice time and leave immediately after.

-One parent/guardian per player will be permitted in the rink. Spectators MUST physically distance and wear a mask at all times.

-Coaches will wear masks on and off ice.

-Just a reminder that arenas are required to scan Vaccine Passports (and see a valid piece of ID) upon entry.

-Before coming to the rink, every player and parent/guardian/spectator should review the screening form for COVID 19 symptoms. If you are experiencing any COVID symptoms (answer yes to any questions) please do not attend your on ice session.
